Meet Steve & His Family
I'm a native of Hampton Roads currently living in Norfolk with my wife (of nearly 30 years) Theresa, our black lab named Molly & our cats, Chuck and Penelope. Our daughter, Shannon, works with me in the business as my assistant. We also have a son, Steven, Jr., who is currently living in South Carolina.
Some Personal 'Stuff' About Us
We like Soccer. Shannon & Steven played for years and Steven has also been a soccer referee. Theresa and I have both coached, in several different levels, for years too. We especially like NASCAR. If you think that racing is just a bunch of cars going really really fast in circles - well, you better give me a call so I can 'splane' it to you. We love to go to the short track races right here in town at Langley Speedway & we think we're really lucky that there are several NASCAR Tracks (Richmond, Martinsville, Dover, Rockingham and Charlotte) so closeby. Camping is a lot of fun for us, especially at the race track. No RV's here - just good old fashioned tent camping. Theresa and I also enjoy cooking and own a catering company too. (BAM!!). It's a chance to be creative & have fun - and if you make a mistake, you can probably eat it. Our Family has hosted several Foreign Exchange Students. What a fantastic way to learn about other cultures. Steven & Shannon have had the opportunity to go to Germany as exchange students. Steven lived in Würzburg with Jannis and his family and Shannon lived near Munich with Christina (who has stayed with us) and her family.
Building Better Communities
Giving back to the community is important to us. We've been involved in several organizations including The Children's Miracle Network, The United Way, The Heart Association's Cardiac Arrest, the PTA and the Civic League, and of course, Soccer Clubs. Because I'm fortunate enough to earn my living from the community I live in, I also give back to the community by making a contribution to charity from every home closing.
